This newsletter is one way to reach people who have moved here from different countries and want to settle in. At the same time, it is a useful source of information for the network of organizations working together to support internationals in our region.

“Friday Babble” brings together a multilingual community. The aim is to foster a place for community dialogue, based on topics relevant to life in Lappeenranta and South Karelia. Learning Something New This Fall Is Inspiring!
Enrollment for courses at the South Karelia Adult Education Centre (EKKO) is now open, and the semester begins on September 15th. The centre is a welcoming place for everyone to learn. At EKKO, you can study languages, visual arts, and handicrafts, or enjoy hobbies like exercise, theatre, and even cooking. It’s a great way to meet everyday people from Lappeenranta while strengthening your Finnish language skills.
